BIOGRAPHY

James K. Kim RMT, M. Ed., B.A.
James graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, BC, in 2018.
He also holds a B.A. and Master of Education from Pusan National University, South Korea, a Master of Divinity from Trinity Western University, Langley, BC, and a Post-M.Div. from Concordia University of Edmonton, Alberta.
As a clinician,
James highly focuses on the treatment of motor vehicle accident injuries and pain related to postural issues, including forward head posture, functional scoliosis, and spine and pelvis misalignment. He has accumulated over 7,500 hours of hands-on clinical experience.
As an instructor,
James teaches in the RMT programs at Langara College in Vancouver and West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster. He dedicates his time to researching more effective treatments, expanding his clinical expertise, and educating future RMT professionals.
As a RMT CE Course Instructor,
James also leads a CMTBC continuing education course for RMTs on efficient ergonomics and biomechanics, providing strategies to prevent strain, pain, and fatigue, and to support long-term career longevity for massage therapists.
